Story and details

Here's the story for anyone who would like to hear it....

Breck's brother and his wife were coming down to visit her family for the weekend. We had talked about Breck coming down with them as well but in the end decided that he couldn't come.
I was really bummed.

The day came that they were arriving in Utah and I was certain Breck was actually with them. The guy loves surprising me. Brock and Kristen came to my apartment to deliver some packages from my Mom. When I went down to the parking garage I was convinced Breck would be there instead. He wasn't. They came into the apartment and talked for a little, then left saying we'd see each other on Saturday.

As soon as they left I sent Breck a text message saying "Brock and Kristen just left. I was hoping you were actually with them.." But got no reply. So I started back in on my homework. My window was open and all the sudden I could hear Brock talking. And I was so confused. About a minute later Kristen called and asked if I'd come back down to the parking garage because they had forgotten a package.

So I walked back down, honestly not really thinking anything of it but a little confused cause I didn't know what else could be in another package. When I got down the stairs everyone was in the car but Kristen and I couldn't see her anywhere. Brock got out and looking really confused starting fumbling around in the trunk. This is when I knew something was up. Then I heard some flip flops behind me.

As soon as I saw him I went to give him a big hug because I was soooooooo excited to see him!
As soon as he saw me he went to get down on one knee because "all he had going for him was the element of surprise"
The combination of the two equals an awkward moment.

But then after I had finished my hugging, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
And I said yes.

 And I've never been happier.

We're going to be sealed in the Seattle Washington temple on December 28th!
And I can't wait!

An Introduction

There's going to be a new character around this little blog now.
Considering I'm getting married and all.... Yay!
So I think it's about time for a little introduction.

And who better to give it than Tessa?

Around Thanksgiving last year we all went to Megan's senior swim team banquet.
Thinking "Oh yeah! Free dinner!"
But getting 2+ hours of boring talk instead.

Tess took my "to-do list" notebook and started doodling.

Then she showed us this...

Oh, don't understand? Took us awhile too. Let me translate.
B- bad not a chance
R- really nice
E- everyone thinks of him
C-can do stuff
K- knows a lot

Well, I couldn't have said it better myself. Ha. Let's see if I can elaborate a little.
He is not bad, not even a chance, except those times where I have to stamp on his foot during some jokes... kidding! He's great! That guy will stop whatever he's doing to help a random stranger who dropped their groceries. Hence, really nice. I get stopped all the time from people telling me how funny and awesome he is.  And he thinks of everyone, he remembers literally every face he's every seen. It's crazy. And I'm getting a handy man! Score! He can do all kinds of stuff from fixing cars to doing dishes. Lastly, he knows a lot. It's true. I confirm that fact.

All in all, I'm going to have the best husband ever! Yay!
Welcome to the blog!

And then she drew this. That girl rocks.

 There he is!
