Honeymoon #2

About a month ago, (holy bad blog updater), we went on our "second honeymoon".
We had some leftover money from our budgeted money.
Our favorite, (or maybe just mine..), Brad Paisley was going to be playing in Salt Lake right around one month.
Breck decided it would be a good idea to celebrate making it one month.
That's a long time you know.

So we headed on down to Utah land.
And I was oh so excited.

When Breck found out I loved Brad Paisley when we first started dating he bought us
tickets to his concert at the Gorge. Super.
What was not so super was the fact that I'd already be back in Provo.
So what did the great man do? He surprised me with two tickets to go see him in Salt Lake.
We'd both seen his last tour, but separate. It was so fun to go together this time.

We seriously love Brad Paisley.
And we seriously love the drunk people watching that occurs at country music concerts.
And this is seriously the look we gave the poor girl who was so wasted before the show even got close to starting. Bless that sweet rhythm-impaired soul.
She did keep us entertained during The Band Perry, (we seriously don't love them).

Speaking of everyone being drunk and holding up their beer cups at every opportunity...
We felt a little out of place. So we decided to do something about it....
 Bought these bad boys.
BYU-I approved??

The concert was a blast. I sang along the whole time. And my ears were ringing when we left.

Another reason we came down to Utah was to go to the Salt Lake Temple for the first time.
Good plan. Minus the part where it was closed for maintenance.
Draper Temple it was! Loved it just as much.

I thought we were staying in the same hotel both nights, but that tricky Breck had a different idea.
After our session at the Temple he took me downtown just a few blocks from Temple Square to an adorable little bed and breakfast. What a little sneak.

The whole weekend was so fun and a perfect getaway from school.
And the perfect way to celebrate a whole month of marriage and no hatred!

Also... We love the Mariners.
